Craziness...

I am so sick of being sick. I have had the flu I think 3 times in the last 2 months. I know this blog might sound a little like I am on my soap box. That is cause I am. I have been on the couch for the last 2 days. My house is a disaster, which makes me crazy. I wanted to do alot of fun stuff today. It is saturday and we could have gone to the park, or to the bike park that Brydnn has been begging me after school to do.  I feel like the worlds worst mom because I am just on the couch with a major headache and my body hurts all over.  My kids are so great though because when Talie is home she takes over and plays with the kids. She helps me when I need something and She is just a little mom:)

Well we have had some cool things happen though. Travyn has just started walking and Brydnn was tested again at school and went from a 0-26. I am so proud of him. He is my boy that if he doesn't want to tell you something he won't.

It was friday night and Brydnn wanted to sleep with the girls. So we went to check on the kids and this is where he was. So cute!!

Travyn has started to be a funny little boy and loves to climb in stuff.

I am not the mom that is crafty.....

So Talie's birthday was on friday. They had no school and I decided to give her a birthday party. I had 8 little girls at my house. It was going pretty good until I hit one of the little girls in the head with a baseball bat. I know I am the best host ever. They were doing a pinata and I ACCIDENTALLY hit her. I know you are thinking that I did it on purpose. LOL!!  To top it off Alma took the day off and ended up being in bed all day with the flu.

That is a whole other subject.  About a week and a half ago. Brydnn started our family with the flu. Talie got it 2 days latter and Kinley, Me, and Travyn got it last Sunday night. I haven't been that sick for a long time. My kids got over it really quick and it took me 4 days and sometimes I don't know if I am still completely over it. I think kids just get over it quicker. YES!! I am getting OLDER. Not OLD just OLDER!! Then Alma got it Friday. I hope this winter is not going to be long one with sickness in our family. I don't know if I can take it.

We also got family pictures taken on Saturday. I am really excited to see them. I will post some when we get them. My little girls were such posers, and brydnn we had to bribe to get him to smile. Go figure!! Travyn was a little ham, but over all it went really well.

Yard Work!!

So the first few pictures are of our house. For the past few months we really have been working hard on our yard. I am so glad to say we now have grass after 2 1/2 long years. My kids keep asking me if they can play on it and they have to wait 3 weeks and that is eternity to little kids. We got it in just in time to have winter. O-Well!! Now we can move on to the backyard and that is a hugh project to start next year.

So yesterday we went to Talie's doctor to see if she could get off her seizure medicine. I am glad to say she gets to get off it. They think she has grown out of the seizures so now we have to see what happens when we get her off the medicine and out of her system and hopefully no more seizures. It was a great day!!

First day of school!!

So the kids started there first day of school on monday. I was totally fine on monday, but when Alma went to work on tuesday I kind of had a little break down. I can't beleive how fast time goes. I have two kids in school and one in pre-school. It has been really quite around here, well I should say quiter, because Kinley sometimes is not the quietest person. I love being a mom and having my cute little family!!!

So this is really new for me and I didn't think I would want to do it. But here it goes. So today has been pretty good. My kids for once are actually listening. I can not believe that my baby is 1. It goes by so fast and sometimes it makes me really sad.
Talie is starting 1st grade and Brydnn will be starting Kindergarten.  Kindergarten here is all day school. So now I will have two kids in all day school. Also, Kinley will be in preschool for two days a week. I will only have one kid at home for two days a week a couple hours a day.  Where does time go???
The two oldest kids have soccer games today. They are really enjoying being in soccer. Brydnn is really a go getter.  He is pretty good for the first year playing. Talie says she likes it but she likes to socialize more than anything. I can see her as a cheerleader yet:)
